Curious, but not enough to actually look it up, how many voted in this election? If only 30% of the eligible voters cast their vote for the socialist, then there's lots of wiggle room for a sane, qualified candidate to step up. Of course, that's assuming that NYC can produce said candidate.
Less than that. If turnout was say, 30%, then he won with 30% of 30% and that’s only the Dims since it’s a primary. Current mayor Eric Adams is going to run as an independent and may well win. There ARE Republicans in NYC, I’ve read that if the Pubbies in AOC’s district turned out 100% she would lose.
