I was thinking the game started at 8 EST but it is more like 8:30 EST. He comes on at 8 and will ramble for more than 30 minutes and not call it Islamic extremism. Hopefully, they will just delay the game until the end of him blaming terrorism on the weather.

My understanding is that he is going to update us all on what we all knew 5 days ago on the day of the shootings.
Then he is going to update us on what actions he has been taking in order to protect the United States from terrorist acts performed by Radical Islamic Fundamentalists.
I think we can all agree on this........... his speech shouldn't take long at all.

I think his speech will be done before kickoff but then the stations have to analyze what he said. I doubt they cut straight to the game as soon as he is done speaking. They may have the game on a sister station like the nbcsports channel starting at kickoff. That is my hope.

I have thought of something a number of times since Obama came onto the scene. One of the things he did before he became senator was community organize. In the book "Three Bricks Shy
of a Load," about the '73 Steelers, Joe Gilliam talks about community organizers, specifically Stokely Carmichael coming to the college campuses. The quote is something like, "Stokely would come and tell everyone to kill whites, and then leave before the trouble started." That is the definition of community organizers. Stir up ****, get the low educated kid all wound up and do something stupid, and you get out clean. Pretty trashy, huh? If you do trashy things, could you be a piece of trash?
