I think that was Kurtz point. He's in so far over his head that even talking to HIS people is above his pay grade. He did nothing as a State Senator and less than that as a congressional Senator. He has no experience and no background to draw from. He's a lazy, ignorant, petulant, small man.
I honestly don't think the guy really wanted to be president. He is a politician, and that's what politicians do. I think he likes the perks, and is not interested in doing the work.
The goal was to wreck Capitalism, advance Socialism, and appoint bureaucrats to do it and otherwise work around Congress if they didn't go along.
Mission Accomplished.
He doesn't really have anything else left to do. Might as well play golf.

There are two things at work here. BHO was thrust into the office by the dems. He wasn't even going to run until the dems met with him (Harry Reid) and told him he was running. He wanted it but he has never done anything in his life outside of going to college and organizing a community (whatever the hell that means). He isn't a typical politician because he hasn't been around that long. He's never done anything.. ever.. not one single piece of legislation. He's a suit.
You're right that he doesn't want to do the work. But the main problem is he doesn't know what to do. I know he has advisors but when you are clueless you don't know which advisors to believe. So he decided to throw his hands in the air and just walk away. This is what incompetent people do.
Maybe. I just think some of this is purposeful. Maybe he is incompetent, but he is incompetent combined with a hatred for the country he leads.
Careful about what you say.....Dinesh D'Sousa made a movie about that and got thrown in jail....
Or it's a matter that the big government Socialism He's been taught all His life doesn't work but it's all He knows, so there can't be any other solutions.
I've said for years that the economy is pretty easily fixable but it requires doing things that Bomma doesn't believe in.

I agree that the Prezzy job underpays, but the lifetime benefits are not bad.
They did pass a law when Clinton was President saying that former Presidents will only get Secret Service protection for ten years after they leave office and not for life. Wanna bet that gets changed before Bomma's second term is up?

Based on the bullets found in the White House and the guy jumping over the gate, Are you sure Obama has secret service protection now?
It's kind of funny because I took someone visiting me to see the White House in July. We walked around it at night. At the time, I thought to myself
that the gates, particularly behind, were rather low and not far from the White House. Silly me, thought there was a security system in place, that if someone
got over the fence, they'd be shot immediately.

Today's paper reporting that the knife-wielding intruder got a lot farther into the White House than first reported. Most of the way through the first floor of the building and was not stopped at the door.

The simple truth of the matter is that Secret Service agents are among the best-trained and capable government employees we have, and yet we find that these same agents are hookering-up in Columbia, reportedly getting drunk on the job in Columbia, and now allow a nut-job to hop the fence and get inside the White House.
Well, hey, the good news is that the assclowns working at the IRS and government-run healthcare agencies are vastly less qualified, motivated, skilled, and trained for their jobs.
Lucky they don't do anything important, right? What could go wrong?
