OFFICIAL PREDICTION THREAD - Game 6 - Steelers vs. Browns part deux

We need a pass rush ALL GAME this week. And I'd like to see Ben grow a pair and throw the ball deep this week (why he didn't torch the Jags secondary last week is beyond me - still)...

Our running game should edge out theirs. And I think we stop their running game better this week (now that we've got previous film on the backs) - Coach LeBeau will outsmart the Brown's, right???

A game where Mccain @ Blake will help in the nickel the Browns have small fast WR's and Benjamin just torched IKe last time this time Gay should cover him, Cortez on Austin and Mccain the #5 DB and Blake the dime/quarter DB.
Timmons must be on Cameron b/c Spence looks like liability dropping back, better suited at this point to play the run. TRoy should be most of this game near the L.O.S and not at SS he cant cover the ground he used to and is better suited to use to disrupt runs and use to blitz Hoyer.
put Golden at Fs and Mitchell at SS in the nickel.

I don't see anything that says the B&G can win this except for the lame legacy of the stains. Still, it doesn't feel good this go 'round.

Since the Steelers aren't swapping jersey's after the game, I see the Steelers issues render away like ******* magic! I predict a hugh blowout.

Way to go Tomlin! Stepping up and getting these players back on track. Greatest ******* coach ever! Jersey swapping be damned!!! HERE WE GO!! OBVIOUSLY!

The Browns are a much improved team, and the Steelers have not yet shown they can compete when the other team comes ready to play. Paul Kruger is going to be in Bens head early and often. Gradkowski get ready, this game has board meltdown written all over it.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but with Tomlin at the head...

Lackluster performance last week - Browns are better than in the past and playing at home - Browns 24 Steelers 19

I also think the Steelers could easily lose this one and many more.

But I always pick one way, stubborn that way.

Steelers win.

I've got that same thing, but I don't call it stubbornness, I cal it LOYALTY !!!!!

The browns beat the Titans so now they're good? I don't see anything scary about the Browns. In the first meeting they gashed the steelers with outside zone runs. The steelers have always had trouble with that but i expect them to be much better now than week 1 because Keisel is more in game shape, Tuitt knows a bit more, and they have Harrison who can set an edge.

Week 1 was just blown assignments everywhere. The browns may have some success running but it won't be easy like week 1.

The Browns defense is a huge disappointment this year. On paper, they looked to be one of the best this year but they've been terrible. Now they are without Phil Taylor on the DL and likely Joe Haden at CB. Haden couldn;t cover Antonio when healthy. If he plays, he won't be 100%.

The Steeler offense has looked great in pieces. They've run effectively, then they'd look great in the air. Problem is they haven't put it together at the same time. It's as if Haley has been working on different aspects a bit at a time.

I have a feeling it will start to come together in this game. More balance between run and pass which leads to play action passes and big plays mixed in with the quick passes.

Wheaton needs to step up. Ben needs to make quicker reads. Lance Moore needs to play the slot instead of Justin Brown. I think all of these will happen and the Steelers will roll.

Or they will come out strong then quit and let the browns back in it like last time.

Taylor out and looks like Haden also. Gilbert can't handle brown. Kruger is now listed as questionable so and seems like he won't play

The Steelers O hung a whopping 10 on the woeful Jags last week.

Haden and Mingo are active today. Not that that moves the needle too much.
