Okorafor benching

I have a tough time believing this, not that then benching actually happened from it, but that Shades admitted it. How low is his self-esteem to bench someone over a simple comment like this? I hope and pray it was really performance-based and not Shades throwing a tantrum from a simple comment that 90% of the football world was thinking.
Well it is a **** comment. You don't say that. But yes in comparison to the other ridiculous things. They could have lost twice Ravens and Rams when game was won by ridiculous errors.

Chucks was not being paid like a LT. Far from it, but he was one of our highest paid players.

On the post game show, I looked up the numbers. The Steelers save $8.2M if they cut/trade Chukes next year. If he's not the starter by EOY, look for Khan to move him before cutting him. You can make an argument that you want OL the Steelers cut with Dotson and Green doing well...

I'm happy for both. Neither was playing without injury to oline at Pittsburgh.

The Chuks signing never made sense. They were in the transition to wanting to have a power ground game and they paid a guy who is bad at run blocking. There were probably much cheaper options who were strong run blockers.

DK never said he got the info from Tomlin. Just someone in the organization. Also, there are 2 different stories out there. One of them has Chuks saying the offense should just kneel down and run out the clock to get the game (that they were losing) over with.
A player showing that mentality absolutely should be punished. And, if the next guy plays better … too bad for player 1

I've heard for a while that Chuks takes far too many plays off. What he said verifies this imo.

I agree but it also shouldn't take poor behavior to replace an inferior player with someone better. And on that topic why is Wallace on the field.

Unfortunately, they are thin at CB and S. I don’t think Pierre is starting material full-time.
