Yes our defense sucked, yes the Steelers played turtle ball instead of delivering the kill shot and passing the ball at the end of the game, yes the team had an insane amount of penalties, but plain and simple that flea flicker bomb to Brown that was dropped stands between our favorite team being 3-1 and now being 2-2. I love AB....dude is clearly a top 5 NFL receiver but he has to make that play.

I'm not putting all the blame on AB. The TB WRs dropped Tds passes as well. Jackson dropped one with about 2 minutes left in the game.

Bruh obviously you are new here. That was the coaches fault. Just like Wallace getting tossed to the side and the other Brown drop and any other play that is not executed. You know because of our coaches have had any success in this league. Not Tomlin, Haley, Munchak, Lebeau, Mitchell. None of them. We just go out unprepared every ******* week. Only thing keeping us halfway competive is Ben.

I think it was TB's next to the last drive there were a couple of non-call PI's that I was surprised not seeing a flag on. The one with Gay covering Jackson, they were both pushing so the no-call "should" have been expected. Another play (the one before) Timmons had the guy covered, but didn't turn his head or anything. There was some minor contact that probably didn't affect anything, but I was surprised not seeing a flag.

Unless you are NE against the clowns most PI calls are tough to get in the last minutes of a game. So I wasn't surprised by the none call on Gay. I was shocked Timmons wasn't flagged. He never even saw the ball and did make contact.

Getting either of those defensive pass interference calls MIGHT have actually inspired a 4th quarter score from us as we would have had more time on the clock and had OUR backs against the wall to score instead of them.

Playing NOT to lose has become predictably unsuccessful under this regime...not to mention difficult to watch!

For what its worth, even Megatron has had more than his fair share of drops.

And we all know coaching has no effect on in-game play. None. Coaches aren't responsible for **** like making players better or smarter. Besides, all of our fuckups drafted, resigned, and started themselves.

Ironic that you listed those coaches as having NFL success. Haley, Munchak, and LeBeau were all colossal failures as HCs. Truly, they get the most out of their guys.

The team is 2-2 because a lot of players that should be making plays aren't. This was a team loss.

the team is 2-2 because that is what we are an average football team..

I didnt say **** about them as head coaches did I. Nothing. Lebeau is considered one of the greatest defensive minds. Munchak one of the great oline teachers. Haley had success. Tomlin has had success. Mitchell is considered one of the best Dline coaches. The last thing I would say is this team is unprepared. Players miss blocks, players drop balls, miss tackles, overthrow passes.

I have never heard one player come out and say we loss because we had no clue what to do.

No, they don't say it - they just show it week in and out.

Sure, he should have caught that ball but I don't blame the loss on him. The team and coaches did way too many other things wrong to try and blame the loss on one player.

Based on what? What exactly were they not prepared for that you can tell from your living room?

I am sure Brad Wing kicked the ball off the side of his foot because he was also ill-prepared.

Football players (punters included) need constant inspirational speeches throughout the game in order to kick, throw and catch properly

AB dropped that one and quit on his route with Ben scrambling on the very next series. It looked like Ben overthrew him, but should have been an easy catch if AB hadn't have slowed his route. If AB makes either play, Steelers win.

How have you been, Franco?

Actually, I don't believe Hollywood is Franco. Unless Franco has multiple personalities. Hollywood may share some of the same ideas as Franco, but he's capable of actually debating and conversing about his thoughts when given a chance. Both are displays of intellect that Franco is/was sorely lacking.

True but the game was lost by any number of players and plays. AB made more than his share of plays too.

Then I'd suggest not relying on player interviews/press conferences for football insight. Hint: they don't give any.

No offense, but guys like you are the reason they do PCs and interviews.

No, but he's proven himself an awful punter and we keep trotting him out there, so..........

this game was clearly and totally lost due to player discipline - or lack thereof.
the number of penalties were astoundingly stupid.
the TYPE of penalties were equally absurd.
the repetition of these was downright embarrassing.

THAT falls squarely on the shoulders of Tomlin.

you can say we lost the game on our last ineffective drive.
which is a summation of lack of player focus...which leads to inconsistencies and penalties.
