I think they should keep Fields and bring in another young vet for competition. This draft sucks for QB. I don't want an old vet like Rodgers or Cousins.

I don't love Darnold but the steelers need a QB. Darnold was a high draft pick for a reason. He's mobile and has great accuracy. This was his first year with a stable offense and he was mostly very good. This game was a jailbreak so I don't think you can write him off for it.

Steelers have no QB. There's no franchise QB just sitting out available. You need to bring in some projects.

I don't want Darnold because he'll cost the most and stink behind this offensive line. Invest minimally at QB until you can get a guy you think can be a long-term answer. Until then, build the talent elsewhere and start to stockpile future draft picks to move up to get your QB. There's a lot to be determined, but 2026 should be a little better than this year.
