Patriots Cheating Video Released

This issue is not resolved until those cheating trophies are taken away. That will never happen, so it will never die for me. The nfl is garbage.
 
I've sat on this trying to think it over. The long I think about it, the worse it is. Absolutely no reason to film the Bengals' sideline. If the Patriots wanted to show what an advanced scout did, they could've filmed their own sideline and said what the advanced scouts are looking for. A team that got caught once should've known there was a zero tolerance policy in regards to filming another team. However, if the NFL goes easy, mine as well join the party because they wouldn't be doing it unless it provided them with an advantage.
 
Every conspiracy theory i have read still holds water. I have no doubt these incidents are tip of the iceberg.

Frustrating that most talking heads either think nothing of it or defend them.

Or many players say something is fishy but won't cross the line.
 
So has tge Rog swept this under the rug yet? Announce that the SEVERE penalties of loss of a third round pick, a half a million or wait a WHOLE million dollar fine and the suspension of the team president for four games Is happening? Ohh shiver me timbers... its gonna be so hard to stomach whats about to happen... flagrantly flaunting the cheating in front of tgecworld and still going to skate

They won't suspend billacheat. Their half *** investigation will consist of asking a few questions and getting lies in return. No phone records will be pulled, no on site computer etc.will be looked at. They will conclude the investigation by saying it is wasn't intentional wasn't brought on by the cheatriots front office. And they will be fined and maybe a draft pick. But that is as good as it gets. It will be business as usual at the office.

Yeah they are going to suspend the team president, not belicheat for sure... it will be a token sacrificial lamb... how do you even suspend someone like that? What does it accomplish?

It isn't that he shouldn't get that type of punishment, it is Goodell wouldn't dare. Kraft is too powerful. And Roger doesn't want to stir the pot. Patriots do not receive the same type of punishments that other clubs do. And wouldn't as long as Roger is in control.

The money will win out every time over integrity. Which happened after they blew up into the massive money making machine they've become.

It is sports entertainment! Just like movies,music,comedy..ect.

All kinds of cheating goes on in sports. Those sports that are really tight in competition everyone is looking for that edge..the Olympics, cycling,blood sports,weightlifting..ect.

The stuff going on with p*ts has to be known. You'd have to be foolish to believe so many very well to do owners with vast resources at their disposal wouldn't know.

that’s what bothers me. They suspend Payton for a full season, essentially saying that it didn’t matter if he knew or not. He was in charge and as such, was responsible. But with Belichick, it’s always different. He couldn’t possibly know about a camera crew doing exactly what they were previously penalized for doing.

The owners signed off on Goodell not just Kraft. If enough thought he was so terrible or in bed with Kraft I would think they would have the guts to stand up. You are talking about a lot of arrogant billionaires I would not think they would be afraid to speak out
 
That tape that tape is to close to what they already got punished for for them not to be punished again. This time harsher
 
The thing is radio calls are used for the initial defensive call, but the radio shuts off at the line and any adjustments or last minute sub has to be done by hand signals... so the idiot cheats fans don’t know what they are talking about as usual when they try to say it doesn’t matter
 
There are a lot of reasons to turn this into a major deal but just as last time (spygate) there is way to much money to lose. ALL owners want money, thus the GREED MACHINE the NFL has become. UNLESS a politician becomes involved and dedicated (doesn't take bribes and that would be hard not to pending on $$$$), there will be no "REVENGE" as most here want. Sucks but that's the way it goes.



The ONLY way anything will change (but will never happen) is a total boycott of the NFL. MONEY talks to a GREED MACHINE and when the fans quit spending, they will notice. It will never happen because the average fan is brainwashed into thinking this is a fair identity in the NFL. MOST are sheep and can't think for themselves or don't care enough to think for themselves. PLUS it would be to much work for most of the masses to actually boycott.

Oh, Goodell does do what the owners tell him. Deflategate was all about how the old guard owners (Mara, Rooney, Ford, McCaskey, Hunt) were absolutely seething mad with how Goodell handled Spygate. In the end he tried to handle Deflategate with transparency, but the Wells report screwed that up. Had he just used his position to interview the parties involved (you know the guys the Patriots supposedly fired, but yet we’re still employed) then make an informed decision based on that.

Those five owners were particularly upset with Goodell’s arrogant actions towards Senator Spector’s requests. Put the spotlight on the NFL in a negative manner. Having a sitting senator requesting a House investigation was not what they wanted.

The thing is, you cannot say , never again” and threaten seriously harsh retribution if something happens again, then immediately backpedal when it happens again...

The pats lost all benefit of the doubt... spygate wasn’t some minor thing like many were led to believe at the time, it was a systematic institutional cheating program. The NFL turned a semi blind eye and buried it as best they could with the penalties, but much of tge real goings on have been exposed and there is no public faith in the NFL as it is...

To not treat this as an absolute slap in the face to the NFL is akin to basically admitting that you are ok with cheating... you are a step from being the WWE...
