PDiddy Arrested for Assault

Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested Monday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on the UCLA campus, according to police.

Combs was arrested about 12:30 p.m. at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex over an alleged assault involving a kettlebell, police said in a news release.

No one was seriously injured, police said. The charge is a felony, police said.

Combs was in the the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center by 7:37 p.m. His bail was set at $50,000, sheriff's department officials said.

A kettlebell is a round piece of weightlifting equipment with a handle, usually made of cast iron.

NOTE: This is clearly not a hate crime. And this is not indicative at all of the gangster/rap/thug lifestyle. It's just an unfortunate incident we shall ignore.
