This just in, Connor Bedard just won the Nobel Prize and a Grammy
 
Well got the first loss out of the way. I wish they wouldn't pass the puck around 800 times on the powerplay before they screw up and it gets cleared. Shoot the damn thing.

Same. Saw the writing on the wall. It's going to be a long season. Carter is getting too much playing time...and WTF is he on the PP?

Yeah. Not a fan of Carter. That aside, I’ll give this team a few games to gel together. If this trend is continued by November/December. Sully needs to go. His system works for younger player. Not 30 year old+ players. He’s trying to be fast with a team that just isn’t fast. They forecheck aggressively but their lack of speed leaves the opposition boucning back

He got his first NHL goal last night..

Kid is very impressive...wait until he gets bigger and stronger...Blackhawks got a good one.

Hope he gets the same reception as Sid. It's a kinder, gentler league now, so probably not and judging by the constant swooning, the league will no doubt make sure he's untouchable.

I don't need savage street brawls, but let's let hockey be hockey. I don't like what the nfl has done to the game. I hope it hits hockey a lot less, if at all.

Well the kid got a welcome to the NHL from the ref on the opening face-off the other night.....That was sooo nice...

I don't believe Sid got that...he probably got something like "your in for a f*cking long night rookie" from the opposing center ice men..

I yell "Shoot" at the TV a lot. It may go in, may come out and a rebound ends up laying there, it gets snagged and you get a face-off in their end...all good things.

Jarry is not a # 1. He is not a Fleury. He is not a Murray. Wish they had somebody else.

We haven't had a netminder worth poop since MAF left. DeSmith and Jarry both have shown flashes, and even sustained flashes, but they are not great. My guess it that was the motivation for the grabbing of defensive studs in FA. We won't win a cup until this is addressed.

damn the game I don't see it's 4-0 vs caps. Sid with 2 powerplay goals and Geno with 4 points on the night.

Great win!
