Good franchises rebound from bad years.FWIW, the Pens did a great job in getting Le Gros Vache and Sid, both generational talents identified as similar in potential to Greztky, AND turned that into multiple Stanleys even with ownership crises.
While it's hard to like where they are today, they have been historically better than any franchise for the past couple generations.
I mean, they are not the Maple Loafs or the Seabreeze.......
The Pens have always had some down years and do a complete turn around.
The skillset of prospects today with the advancement of training. I don’t see them dropping off drastically. It’ll be hard to replicate Sid. But the franchise has a presence
