Penguins 24-25

iu

Another great team win. Excellent job especially considering it was back to back

Pens going for 4 in a row tonight
They are up 2-1 after 1

Yeah. We are looking good. I wish we would stop all those shots on goal.

NICE!

Wow!! Is the old Jarry back??

And yet, today they announced that Rusty is on the trading block.

Go figure.

Did you notice all the empty seats? Here they were playing the defending SC champs and the place looked half full.

The Pens weren't losing with Geno's parents in the building. Lets get real. When his parent's fly across the pond, Malkin becomes a man on fire.

They had 9 forever it seemed. I mean who in here thought they would actually hold on to that 4-1 lead? I didn't.

Bobrovsky wasn't in net last night either. He would have shut the Pens out like he always does.

I was just shocked that for 16 shots,5 went in net.

Right Jarry's numbers were insane considering their SOGs.

16 SOGs is good for a period, not a game. That's embarassing.

And we have crap for defense still.
My question is this: What changes from periods 1 & 2 to period 3? They have carried multi goal leads into the third a bunch only to blow those leads. So, what changes from the first two periods to the third? Is it the scheme? Do the players relax? Does it take the opposition that long to discover that the Pens defense sucks? Something is amiss.

Yes ..a W and a Geno goal usually..
I think I heard they have a much shorter plane ride now?

My guess - and it's just that - is that they went into a prevent game.
