Pens 25-26 thread

They can't seem to get much offensively going. Down 2-1
 
Watched both games over the weekend. They looked the same Saturday and Sunday.


I’ll say the common denominator when it comes to the team anchor is Kevin Hayes

IDK, the loss yesterday was not embarrassing. The one at home to Calgary was. We were just flat in that game. Losing to the Bs always sucks, but 1-0 on their ice is nothing to be ashamed of, IMO.
 
The version of the Pittsburgh Penguins team is very inconsistent and streaky, especially offensively.
Team currently is the third best in power play percentage, but middle of the road with goals scored.
It seems they’ve done a good job recently of solidifying their defense, but I believe if they could improve their even strength goals scoring, it would go in a long way towards making the playoffs this year .
The question is is how they do that with the current personnel?

Had stuff to do and missed most of the Calgary game and all of the Boston game. It doesn't get any easier tomorrow night. Hope to catch that one.
 
I went in for orientation at my new job today. My boss is from Boston. Big cheaters and Bs fan.

I will make him suffer.

Dan Muse probably feels pretty good becoming the #2 guy on the Pittsburgh head coach chain today. No longer the FNG.
 
Holy cow...TBL are on a totally different plane than the Pens. The pens had a PP but Tampa controlled the puck for most of it.

Yeah. These last two games ended with bad results. Still good games, and I'm pleased with their grit.

We have to get Silov coached up winning a shoot out
