Pens 25-26 thread

I hope they're just saving it up for Sunday vs Caroline. They've given up 10 goals in their last two games. Got to tighten that up.
 
Tied 4-4 heading to OT. Well at least they got a point,but two would be better. They'd better get it in OT,because they suck in the shootout.
 
Missed it. Spent the day moving my wife's crazy stepdad into an assisted living place. Looking forward to tomorrow's game.
 
This team is so worth the price of admission lol.

Don't ever remember any Pens team that can respond and comeback the way this team does after they get down in a game. It's like nothing phases them.

They really need to tighten the defense up and stop that short handed goal BS.
 
They must have shot their wad yesterday. I just turned it on after getting back from the beach...ugh 3-0 4 min left in the second. Two power play goals too.

They need to get one soon.

It's my fault. I fell asleep after the first goal. Woke up just in time to see the PP goal, the the 3rd goal. I have turned it off. That might help.

The Canes have to be the money favorite to hoist the cup.
 
And 4-0 giving up another PP goal. It looks like they've mailed it in on this one.
 
Geno takes the dumbest penalties. He leads the team in minutes.

Yeah this game is a wash.

Our power went out half way through the first period yesterday.

By the looks of it, that was a good thing lol.

Now the PK is junk, the defense is junk.....

Can we put Sid back in IR so they get back to playing winning hockey? :ROFLMAO:

It's strange but they play better as a team when he's on the shelf.

I think the mindset of the team is to step back from being a doer of good hockey, into the mindset of "what does Sid want us to do."

Rusty is the exception here. He always has been. That's why I wanted him to stay over Jake. Jake only followed Sid's lead. He was largely flat when Sid was out.

Except for a boneheaded move by Watherspoon that resulted in a Nate McKinnon goal, the Pens seem to be playing pretty well without Geno

3-1 avs. The Pens are playing like **** and giving up tons of goals for a numerous games now.
 
Damn 4-1 Avs. Might be time for a change after intermission to maybe get a spark.
