Pens 25-26 thread

Well, that was a crappy start.Blink and it's 2-0.We outshot them 10-8, so atleast they have that..lol.

Let's hope they can get a few in the second.
 
Each of the big 3 have been to the sin bin.

0-3 bad guys. Lame showing.
 
Wow. This is way worse than I expected. So lame.
 
Glad I missed it. Hope to have time next week to catch both games during the week. Especially the Caps game.
 
I recorded the game yesterday and watched some of the goals. If those two lucky bounces don't sneak by Silovs skates in the first, and he doesn't miss handle the puck that caused that penalty shot, it is a different game. Really the first bad game by our goalie in awhile. I don't understand why he tried to shoot that puck towards the corner instead of the other way across and behind the net. O well see how it goes against the Leafs tomorrow night.

I'm thinking it was just newbie mistakes. That first goal was just luck. Clear proof as to why they just need to keep putting the puck at the net, but no way that was the planned shot.

Every team has bad games. Let's hope this was just that, and not a return to slop.
 
Anyone know who is carrying the game tonight?
 
Hate seeing Tanev is back on IR with likely concussion #2 in a couple weeks. He was one of my favorite D, along with Kasparitis

According to the Pens site, Ben got the goal but I think the ref said it was hit by a high stick of the Toronto player and bounced in. If Ben hit it, then it would have been with another high stick and play stopped. The goal would have been denied.

I couldn't tell if he tipped it or not but regardless, Pens are up 2-0. 👍👍
