It wasn't perfect by any means but hopefully something they can build on. The two teams actually looked pretty evenly matched but I think the Pens were a little lucky to get out of there with W. The Sabres were really tilting the ice for most of the last two periods.

Season of missed opportunities so far (i e. Not beating the Bengals and going to 5-1; failure to covert on a tush push while up a td on the Bears wiping out their chance to go up 2 Tds).

Be honest. TD s are tough to come by in today's league.

When Letang missed that game winner with seconds to go in regulation, I thought "Oh no. Here we go again." For him to stuff the turkey in OT was epic.

Funny part was, that going into OT, I was actually glad that Jarry was in net. He handles shoot outs better than the other options. It felt funny to be glad Jarry was in the game.

Phil Borque (spelling?) Was ripping the team for hanging Jarry out to dry in the 2nd period. I agree with him.
 
Getting our butts beat by Toronto of all teams. WTH??
 
Pens making a bad suck fest of playing the lamest team in the league. 5-1 in the second. "May be the best period of the season for the Leafs." Yeah. It's that bad.

Thinking this is the team we've got this year and the start was just an anomaly.

Are you sure the Loafs are the lamest team?

They are clearly the most disappointing NHL team in the last 58 years and counting, and amongst the biggest playoff of chokers of all time, in any sport, but have they they outlamed both Minnesota and Columbus?
