Yay! No overtime nail biter tonight.
Was starting to get used to the OT. Great to see the Pens 1 back of the Caps. Hope they keep it going. It will be an interesting couple of games against Boston. What the hell are they going to do to try and wake up Malkin? Healthy scratch for a few games?
Four in a row. The only real issues I have with this team is that they still have issues on the back end, and secondary scoring seems to be outpacing the top two lines.
If I’m GMJR, I look to move Malkin, Letang and Zucker. Malkin and Letang’s issues are well documented, so I’m not going to rehash it here. Zucker on the other hand.....guy is soft. Soft on the puck, soft in his stick work and not really physical or fast. I’m not sure what he offers this team at this point. He is like Brassard 2.0, except he didn’t destroy the chemistry of the team. He’s just a guy. ZAR plays with more fire.
I been trying to get back into watching penguin hockey. It's hard. Many old names,. But aside from guentzel, I haven't seen much to get excited about. Maybe reading here and talking to you guys will help. I live alone, and not in Pittsburgh.
You're kidding, right? Tanev is very exciting. Kapenin looks to be worth investing in. Jankowski and Joseph are bringing passion and opportunity. The third line has been the best on until this last week.
Somehow the Pens are only down by 1.
Pens lost that game because they got stupid pass happy on a 3-0 in overtime. Malkin and Letang. Color me stunned.
Dang....3-0 and Malkin/Letang couldn't get a shot on goal. Should have won that one but it was fun to watch
