I’m still in question why Sullivan pulls DeSmith so quickly after the 3rd goal. The Pens weren’t even on the other side of the ice and of course it put Letang in a bad spot. There was plenty of time to get into the offensive zone then he should’ve pulled the goalie.

They did. And, as opposed to the Steelers of late, when the Pens lose, it is almost always a good effort.

This is a high powered game so far. It looked like they were in Jarry's head in the first period, but he's found his feet. 2-2 in the second.

5-2 final. Jarry played average but scoring is now an issue as well. I still don't think this team is anywhere near a cup winning team. They might get into the playoffs but they won't be there long. Jarry has had a nice streak but it's just that... a streak. I don't think he is good enough to win a cup. I don't think the offense or defense is good enough.

That first goal you could see his angle was off plain as day as they mentioned but the last few games the defense has been reverting back to bad habits. Too many breakaway's and odd man rushes.

When you see Letang and others trailing from behind flailing at the puck you know what's going on.

This team just seems like an average team to me. They can win some games and beat even a few good teams. But they aren't beating anyone in the playoffs. Way to inconsistent and they just don't have enough talent, speed or size. I can see this team finishing just above .500.

I only heard about it as a side comment after the game. I guess he wasn't happy about the calls that lead to two overlapping 5-3s. I thought he said a 10 minute major, but who knows.

The crackwhores don’t bother me. My hatred for the caps resurfaced during the Georgia game yesterday. Alabama’s wr endzone celebration was the karate kid. I had ptsd flashbacks of kuznetzov’s stupid bird celebration.


I want heads to roll and villages to burn as the Pens and Dawgs play from here on out
