I thought they played well the 2nd period. The Rags didn’t look so fast and physical. It’s almost like the Rags had a huge adrenaline dump after the first.

Boarding/charging whatever you want to call it, the Pens were getting wiped out long after their play was over. Glad they called it, ******* finally.

It did look like the game slowed up significantly. The Pens fell asleep on that shorty though. Damn!

The team is not built for that and when they do attempt to check it's several seconds late and they get rung up with a penalty. They are designed to make the opposing team pay when 5-4. If the PP was up to speed and where it should be, the opposing team might not play as fearlessly.

That’s just that. The powerplay sucks, the Pens get pushed around. It’s going to get to a point you lose Sid, Guentzel etc cause this team has no answer for the physical aspect. I hope they repeat their 2nd period performance but let’s see if NY doesn’t up the ante physical wise
