Great game. For the life of me, I don’t understand why the pens don’t teach James Harrison to skate to put an end to all the bullshit cheap shots in the playoffs. Simply say, you see James. He is on the end of the bench. You take a cheap shot. He is on your ***. Your choice.

The "new" Pens Central bar. Was at my parents for the past 50+ years, getting ready to sell the house and I couldn't let it go. Retro, yes, old yes, but the Pens are 1-0 with me sitting, drinking and carrying on sitting at this old bar, so I'll be here again on Thursday, God willing and if the creek don't rise..

That’s awesome. My folks are getting up there in age. Late 70s. That makes me Think of all the good times watching the pens / Steelers and nfl prime time with my parents back in the day. Great memories.

The Pens played nearly two games, period wise. You know that this aging team is going to come out a bit slow in game 2. Bodies just dont recover that quickly as you get older. Rangers have a young team, bodes well for them. We'll see what kind of grit the Pens have in a few days. great game though.

I was thinking about that too. A lot of guys into their 30's. They certainly don't want too many games like last night.

Well Sullivan did have Reeve's a few years back and got rid of him. It was the same BS a few years ago with the Isle's too. I don't get why the NHL is all pissy about the rough play in the regular season then green lights the **** in the playoffs. All Reeves did the first period was glide around the ice looking for someone to hit late. Look I don't mind someone checking hard but when the puck is gone for 3 or 4 seconds before you even get to the guy that should be a penalty.

I think it was poetic justice last night because it sure looked to me like all the physical BS in the first period caught up with the Rangers in OT. Most of the OT you could tell they were just hanging on. The Pens were winning all the faceoffs too which kept the pressure on in the first OT.

Kudo's to the guys for one of the toughest wins in Pens history. Reminded me of that game 7 a few years back against the Sens. Was tired afterwards from just watching it.
