I was not into watching hockey at the time but when Edmonton traded Gretzky, were they both on the "outs" and looking for a change?

I don't remember the details, but he wanted the trade.

Letang is looking really good so far IMO.

He is an enigma. He plays great when Sid is not in the lineup but gets lazy as hell when he is a sidekick. I think a trade would benefit both but lets see what happens when they all come back.

It goes without saying, this is a great opportunity to see what the kids can do. I hope the team can keep up the intensity when the superstars eventually do come back. It will be really interesting to see what happens to that dynamic.
