Pickens would not have had this success here

Pickens is not AB level of nutso (not yet anyway). A young guy missing curfew or a couple of dumb penalties I can live with if he's performing.

What I don't understand is why go after Rodgers if you're gonna get rid of your best WR and call Mason Rudolph plays? What was the point of that?

... as dismal and terrible as this team looked the last game they are still mathematically in it.

This last effort was truly an embarrassment after the first half.
We're not that far apart. The difference seems to be that I gave up hope on Tomlin about six years ago and you still have hope. I'm glad that someone has a bit of hope left.

I'll always be a Steeler fan I suppose, but they've become the Pirates in the past decade and I'm not happy about it.

You know I keep hearing how immature Pickens was but how many unsportsmanlike conduct penalties has DK gotten?

Vikings cut Adam Theilein. He's old and washed. Probably be here by Wednesday

With CeeDee Lamb out, Dallas got their first clue why the Steelers traded Pickens. The attitude is 1 thing. The fact that he quits on the team when things aren't going his way is the real reason but those plays don't make the highlight reel.

Sherman called him out

"More often than nots, a leopard no changes his spots."

Pickens also isn't on AB's level of on the field play, AB was nutso, but the guy played his *** off up until his final season.

I don't know i think they is stretching it. Dallas was still in the game till the end. Pickens didn't have his best game, but i wouldn't say he was half-assing it. Lamb was out earlier in the year and Pickens did fine

I see him running routes he never ran here. So I agree he is a much more polished receiver then I thought. But since they don't run inside routes much in Pittsburgh he'd have what he always had. He still has lazy moments like that game turning interception. I don't believe a leopard changes his spots. Dak isn't 21. They will be good together for a couple years and he will have definite implosion. He's a ****** idiot.

Yep, quitting on routes, not going full speed on plays that aren't coming to him.

Watching Pickens last night, that boy had a lot of quit in him and thought, that's the Pickens we all seen the past couple of years. When Lamb went down last night, he immediately went into a fencing posture. That is really concerning for his season and career

I was thinking the exact same thing, he half assed routes more than once in the second half. He looked incredulous when called for grabbing the corners face mask which was obvious. Not to mention what many others have mentioned, his slant routes over the middle are a go to when the Cowboys need that conversion and Dak usually puts the ball where it needs to be. We know that’s not happening here.

I’ve said it here before about Curious George…He gets disinterested very quickly if he’s not the focal point in the play.
He’s got million dollar talent no question, but unfortunately he’s cursed with a 10 cent brain.
He’s not and never will be a team first guy.
What do I mean by that!
George would rather have 10 catches for 150 yards and a couple TD and his team lose the game than have three catches for 30 yards and no TDs and his team wins.
No thanks! I’ll take a Hines Ward over this guy any day. Hines gave it his all every game.

I watched about 10 min of the game. He 100% half assed some of his routes, even the ones with the ball thrown his way.

He's a me player and not a team player. I hope Dallas throws a dump truck load of money to him. They'll regret it,but **** them.

Metcalf in 12 games
605 yards-75 penalty yards
530 net yards
44 yards/game average
$33million/17 games
$1,941,176/ game
If the Season ended today DK cost the Steelers $44K per yard
DK Metcalf is worth $44,117.64 PER YARD????
LOL

With a good coach maybe.
