share with all of us who have suffered through Steeler gamesIf mitch lights up he should share some with Kenny. He's in pain.
All depends on the O-Line...
They were hot crap last week!
Even 77 was not up to standard..
Rudy is an option. No?If Mitch lights it up I would be a bit shocked. But that is a much better scenario than if Mitch sucks and Mason comes in and does well. At least Mitch is signed for the foreseeable future and we could try to develop Kenny.
I think we know the answers to these questions already. We have had seasons of this **** show as YOUR answer. The way I see it is, we will find out tonight IF our scheme is as predictable as we know it is. Our run game had started to get better...just as we started to play crappier teams.
This Cheats team may have no offense, but their defense against the run is no joke. Now that Ernie has been gone for 2+ years, we are starting to see that Bellicheat is just a defensive coordinator working as a HC. He will have his defense ready so we might have to make our hay tonight on defense.
Likewise, our defense is coached by a poorly organized position coach and HCMT. We will find out how truly bad our defense is tonight too, going against the only offense in the league worse than ours. If we can only be slightly better than average, they shouldn't score at all.
They have scored just 13 points in the last 3 games combined. They have been shut-out twice and held to 7 or less points five times this year. A much larger indictment against our HC will be our defenses ability to keep them under their season average of >13 points. If not, injuries or not, we cannot compete with this scheme, IMO.
At this point a retarded monkey would be a better option.Rudy is an option. No?
Pickett was not projected to be off the board earlier. It was a pick your flavor draft. Some people had Willis, Howell, Pickett, Corall, or Ridder as the top QB. There was no consensus number one QB in that draft. The only reason Mitch is here is as Tomlin said, "It was to prevent us from doing something stupid in the draft." In terms of doing something stupid, it would have been reaching for Malik Willis. Let's face it. Malik is who everyone thought was coming to the Steelers as Pickett was projected to be off the board early. Malik was going to be a project and would have never seen the field his rookie year had he been here. But after Pickett fell to us and was selected, the writing was on the wall for Mason. We weren't looking for Pickett to sit on the bench watching Mitch and Mason leapfrog each other. He was considered by many to be the only "NFL ready" QB.
Well, that didn't age well...There's a reason the Khan Artist kept all three....Light it up Mitch, seize the moment....
Well, that didn't age well...
Best before the winter, or so I heard. At what point do you put the manure on the garden ?
Salute the nation
I was trying to give us good vibes. Figured maybe some positive energy would rally Steeler Nation.Well, that didn't age well...
