Was an odd event. You store him on IR and then bring him back to cut him. Why not just waive him injured initially?

I don’t know Bleed, each I’ve he has subbed in for injured player, he’s been atrocious. (Last game was 1 play for Dan Moore), Against NYJ it was for Issac, which I believe gave up a sack. Spencer Anderson was active, but not sure if he got in the game as a tackle eligible.

Then they could have just never activated him... my best guess is since he was super raw, they didnt want him to be inactive all season, so they will sign him to the PS ... that or they are trading for another T and dont have space for him

yeah admittedly i dont know the ins and outs of activation from IR. I do recall watching him in preseason and he (cooks) was bad.
Calvin anderson also has a wierd history coming over from Pats.
He got hurt in camp they paid him a settlement and we picked him up as FA.

He was in the hunt for starting RT. And Chuks ultimately left on his own volition.

NOW,,, yes he ( C. Anderson) came in on the one play dan moore came out on, when he hurt his ankle or whatever,,, cold off the bench and gave up a sack .
Could have rolled pocket away from him,,, but they didnt. Whatever.
