I am rooting for the Chargers and Bills... I want the Steelers or Texans to win it all so if those two win, the winner of the Steelers Texans gets a home game next week....
Jaguars are #3 seeded, we are #4. Rather play at home than visit themDon't we want the Jags to win and the Chargers??? That way we're not the lowest seed, who would then play Denver...

Got curious and looked for that SOV stat, Steelers have the highest of the AFC playoffs with. 453If we won and:
- the jags and chargers win, we play the jags in jagoffland
- If the bills and Chargers win, we play the Bills here in Pittsburgh,
-if the Pats and Bills won, we play the Pats in NE
--If the Pats and the Jags won, we play Denver in Mile high
On a side note...
if the Steelers lose to the Texans, it will be their first ever playoff loss to a Houston based NFL team.
Under Mike tomlin, the Steelers have never played tge texans in the playoffs
They are
1-0 vs the Chargers
0-1 vs the Pats
0-2 vs the Jags
0-2 vs Denver
If, by chance, Tomlin won vs the Texans, then lost to the Jags, then opted to leave the team, his first and last playoff games would both be losses to the Jags
New Englands schedule was really soft... both tgey and Denver rocked a sub .380 SOV... basically the average team they beat had around 6 wins..
New England still managed to beat good teams at an acceptable rate. Ditto Denver. If we won and:

I'm in Flawda... so...Jaguars are #3 seeded, we are #4. Rather play at home than visit them

I also believe Texans haven’t won a road playoff game ever. 0 and 6.
So that would be an additional futility if the Steelers became their first road victory. (Texans are favored)
SOV is misleading when it comes to teams with just a couple wins... but after 9 wins, its a good stat. It weeds out teams than only feast on losers...Got curious and looked for that SOV stat, Steelers have the highest of the AFC playoffs with. 453
Makes sense to compare with the rest of the playoffs teams right ?SOV is misleading when it comes to teams with just a couple wins... but after 9 wins, its a good stat. It weeds out teams than only feast on losers...
They should have beat the Steelers. They can not help who is on their schedule as the Bills was still a good win. As was the Panthers they still made the playoffs and played the Rams extra well.. They went .500 against good teams you know like most teams that play today and better than the Steelers who play tomorrow .New england beat:
The Joe Flacco Bengals (whose only victory was us)
The Ravens in a game Lamar only played a half
The Bucs after their offensive injuries gutted them ( they went 2-7 down the stretch
The Falcons during their injury issues where they went 1-7
Miami Twice
The Jets Twice
The Giants
The titans
new orleans
The panthers, who ultimately was a playoff team with a losing record and inconsistent as ****, During their 1-3 start
And they split with the Bills, which was their only win vs a team with a winning record...
It isnt just that they didnt really have wins vs good teams, its that the mid teams they beat were all in the midst of giant losing stretches when they faced them...
They are playing both Jax and Tampa next season on the roadI have no vision of the Steelers playing anyone else past Monday night. None of these teams winning or losing matter if they don't take care of buisness at home.
If I had to choose, I'd go with the Steelers playing at home again, but I wouldn't be upset if they came down to my neck of the woods and played the jags.
I still remember the Blake Bortles game and want payback. Bumping off the pats**** would be sublime.
It's all a very pleasant fanatical dream. The probability of a spectacular crash and burn is very high.
They are playing both Jax and Tampa next season on the road
Road trip for me will wait for schedule to be released to decide
Jags have always had crappy fans. More of a college town..Crowd has to be like 50% Bills fans
If we would end up with Buffalo next week, I would expect a heavy presence at Acrisure. There's the awful Trevor Lawrence INT. Sounds like a big Bills presence in the stadium.
After watching a CMT led team for 20 years I would never shame another team’s record for BEATING the teams they are supposed to beat. I don’t know about you,but I’d say that would rather be hypocritical.New england beat:
