SAINTS RB ALVIN KAMARA ARRESTED FOLLOWING PRO BOWL GAME

by ALEJANDRO AVILAabout an hour agoupdated 25 minutes ago
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara participated in the 2021-22 Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The incident reportedly stemmed from an incident at a nightclub on Saturday. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released a statement on Twitter detailing Kamara’s arrest, which took place on Sunday.
Kamara was taken to the Clark County Detention Center and “booked for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.”
The 26-year-old was arrested at 5:50 p.m. (PST). Authorities met with the victim at a local hospital after he was allegedly beaten by the running back.

He is a punk.

That's one possibility.

There are also a LOT of dimwits out there who truly deserve a sound beating. 🤷

Quite possible but also that "dimwit" will be getting a payday as well......................................

These athletes have ZERO brain cells regardless of who started it. Why was he out that late to begin with and drinking and ect. ect. ect...............................

It happened at 5:50 PM local time.

The problem for Kamara is that the admittedly-incomplete information indicates the beating victim was hospitalized with substantial injuries. Some drunk guy starts a fight and you defend yourself? Sure. Okay. But beat him until he is hospitalized? You have a problem.

It happened at 5:50 PM local time.
I think there is reports of when he got arrested and when the cops showed up at the hospital. I think it is still up in the air about when the event actually took place.

slash has a VERY valid point, self defense A-ok but pulverize hospital is no longer self defense but becomes assault once offender changes from agrasive to give up yet gets beat to hospitalization.......................

Which brings me around to ....... these athletes just seem to think they have privleges normal people don't, ENTITLEENT

Agreed. If one doesn't have an agenda, this appears to be clear as day. Especially if you value video evidence.

Video surveillance shows New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara punching a man approximately eight times before Kamara's associates proceeded to stomp on him several more times on the ground in a Las Vegas casino Saturday morning, according to the police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The man, who was knocked unconscious, suffered an orbital fracture to his right eye, among other injuries, according to the police report.

Police said the video surveillance matched the man's account.

Tuna fish...

Coolie, thanks for both reports. It helps clear things up but he is in big trouble and paying the victim off may not be enough for the police to drop charges. It's a feloney charge with minimum manditory fine of $10 Gs, may not be much to a rich athlete but a lot to me.

Time will play this out and I'm curious to see what the commissioner will do for dicipline ?

So a pro athlete needs back up to fight one guy?
