Preach Coach Tomlin

Sorry Coolie, you teach young men leading by example. If I were to run my mouth about being better everyday and setting the bar higher everyday and then I as a Coach, need to DO or ACT as I preach. He doesn't. All he does is give speeches. He's great during press conferences. interviews, team speeches as we just saw. He's cheerleading.
yes you do

and by all accounts Tomlin lives what he preaches

unfortunately he is below the standard in wins and losses

again though, his speeches are not "cheerleading"

he is giving life lessons. As I stated this thread was not about his ability as a head coach, it was about the positive influences he has on his players

his comments to the player on the field were spot on, there is a time and place for everything

Lets just agree to disagree Coolie. I'm sick and tired of hearing him run his mouth and spewing tomlinisms that make great sound bites for the media and yet he and his teams underperform on a consistent basis. To me, mediocrity isn't a bar that should be set and yet, there he is, Coach Tomlin, Mr. Mediocrity.
