Pregame thread Steelers vs Browns in the Toilet Tank

I have more confidence in the Steelers than I do in the Browns.

Wilson was not the starter when we played Dallas. Since Wilson a vast improvement in the offense. Not the same team are we.

Tomlin is 2-8 in all road Thursday night games.

The Steelers have an outside shot at a #1 seed, no way they lose to the Browns. Their best weapon Chubb is not 100% and may never be again.
The D needs to pressure Winston Cover Njoku and run the ball down their throats on offense.

Since when do the Steelers cover TE’s? If I was the Browns HC I would target the TE’s on quick hitters across the middle 30 times, just in the first half.

If it is rainy or snow conditions feed Naj more and Warren less. Especially in the red zone. With their starting Ts out do disguised blitzes as crab legs isn’t a really mobile QB, the more pressure the better.

On offense run and play action pass, what this team is built on.

Anything less than domination by the Steelers will be a disappointment. Hope the O-Line can keep Garrett in check. Russ could be a sitting duck back there.

Yeah about that fatigue the clowns played Sunday and the lowly Saints whooped that arse.

Why would the Steelers be more fatigued? Both teams played so our team won’t be any less tired than their team.

About that lesser opponent. They are a divisional team. Steelers know they will be giving their best shot.

Also I don’t think with Smith we can think the old patterns will be on repeat. Not to say the Steelers won’t lose games or think they will be some playoff Juggernaut. They will and probably won’t.

I would actually be surprised if they played down. I think this team has a sense of urgency and is healthier and a better team than the clowns.

I think Thursday they will show just that.

Wow, that is amazing. I've never seen that stat. I do know we have split with the Browns the past 4 games (home team winning each game), so right now, they play us better than the Ravens.

Gameplan will be to shut down Chubb at all cost and force Winston to beat us. He has the ability to, he's a great gunslinger, I only hope he makes enough mistakes for our D to take advantage of. I dream for a Pick 6!
