Preseason game 2 Steelers vs Jacksonville

There were a bunch of detailed breakdowns of the line play last game… its a lot different from what we did last year… predicted on a lot of punches and quick contact…
Technique, scheme, whatever. At some point you need to block the guy in front of you and the OL doesn't even look like they're attempting tonight. Same issues as 2021. Same issues as 2020.

The whole left side of our O-line is ******* ATTROCIOUS! Dan Moore, Kendrick Green & Kevin Dotson are all terrible! These guys don't even belong on this roster based on what I've seen the last 2 weeks!

Snell is slow...can't get to the end/corner. Can't catch either. Let's see McFarland.

And I would 100% try someone else at rb next series… if its snells vision or reaction speeed holding him back, then just trade him and keep another wr

The arrogance of thinking a middling ayer like Moore who sucked last year will magically become a good LT is more evidence of Tomlins mishandling of the OLine. Then overpaying a bad player like Orakafor leaves us with the worst tackle tandom in the league. Congrats Tomlin.

Not sure what that coverage is, but we have been burned 2x on it

I wonder if this is the scheme that got Austin fired in Cincy?

Well its not all exactly the same… if an olinemen is struggling because they aren’t getting the contact at the right time, that is fixable

If they aren’t physically strong or quick enough, that is not always fixable

This is why I hate sacks being so glorified. Big sack and then an easy first down.

Green has already been planted on his rear end just like last season. Dan Moore having similar issues in pass protection. Collectively this unit hasn't performed and they can't afford to take an entire season to learn something new. I'm sticking with a lack of talent.
