Probably not watching the super bowl

I don't want the 49ers to tie us. I don't want the chiefs to win again. ugggg

But yeah I will watch. have never missed one.
New England has already tied us so makes little difference at this point. Someone will win 7 before we ever sniff another Super Bowl appearance as long as Tomlin is around.

Sorry boys I’ve had enough this season. With the Steelers annual bullshit, the future of the team looks bleak, the owner appears clueless, it’s the same ole same ole and I’m just exhausted and frustrated from it all.
I just can’t bring myself to watch a meaningless game which the league is excited over with constant shots of the queen of cartoon music and her chooch Kelcie. And let’s not forget Mahomes wife who won’t hesitate to get her mug on tv several times.
Nah, I’ll ***** and moan about the Steelers but i
will reprogram my black n gold brain and now get ready for the Steeler draft and FA convincing myself next season will be different most likely only to be disappointed once again.
Of course I can always root for another non losing season under Tomlin.

If DIC would post a long video of his bikini clad dancers shaking booty in the bed of the LS10 I would watch that. Kinda like watching Descontrol on univision. It's a junk food Sunday. It's a junk TV Sunday.

So I'd for sure cheer for 9ers, had enough of Ole Partick. But buddy is a big 9ers fan and has talked a lot of **** about Steelers though self admittedly he just says from an objective point of view what I and many here think.

Life does get better when you don’t spend days off in front of the tv.

Develop some hobbies that challenge you physically and mentally and keep that mind sharp. In turn you find your overall mood better. I still root for the Steelers but I’ve also put football on the low priority list now that I have two kids.

If you can get over those years of dedicating sundays and try something different. I encourage it.
Yeah, its called the rest of Feb, then Spring, and then most of Summer, you'll have many days to go fish, or hike, or pull your pud, or whatever you wanna say you'll do to show just how serious a Steeler fan (and ONLY a Steeler fan, by golly!!) you are, to virtue signal about how much you couldn't care less about the last meaningful game of the season.

Some of you all strike me as absolutely miserable pouty-*** old farts who get more enjoyment from virtue-signaling your indignance towards the league instead of just being a fan of the game and enjoying the championship game, before we lose it for the next 7 months. Not all of you (certainly not you, MTC, you seem to be reasonable), but definitely some of you

Near same boat, I have an employee who’s chiefs fan. All he talks about is how good Mahomes is and how Mahomes is better career to date than BEN’s was…………………. ****-ing ridiculous.

He hates the fact when I bring up manipulation in chiefs favor, Mahomes is the new Brady treatment ect……..

Employee can’t argue due to he isn’t near informed as myself and many here.

I'm gonna be honest here. I could not argue Ben is better than Mahomes even a bit. And I liked Ben as much as anyone. I know he gets some star treatment but that guy does next level ****.

As a football fan ......... I will watch and not so much cheer for a team if the Steelers are not involved .....but more for those players like CMC and Kittle who I admire for their skills and work ethic..... we can't win the Superbowl every year .......... so I just try to enjoy a well fought game between two strong opponents....

It is more about cooking a nice meal and watching a game with one of my brothers on Superbowl Sundays

I hear that too, but to say Mahomes today is better than BEN’s entire career is asinine. Mahomes has to see iof he can even last that long or obtain career highs.

Yes Mahomes is on fire, gets special treatment and is thriving.

It will be hard to convince me until he (Mahomes) starts surpassing some of these QB’s records.

Ben sucked .......guy goes 15-1 in his first season and then it was all down hill from there .............. the league even added an extra game and he still never surpassed his inaugural season ...............it is his fault we have wasted most of HC Mike Tomlin coaching career ..........never a losing season ........imagine if he had a decent QB ....
Lombardis would have been renamed Rooneys by now

He is in his 4th SB and frankly plays with lesser players than Ben did. I get the homerism but C'mon.

Not virtue signaling. Not intending too. I just try to offer options for some to step away from football for a bit before they stroke out over something out of their control.

Sometimes a break from one hobby is needed. Whether that’s through over saturation, burnt out, coming to terms with reality that society changes in turn so does the rules.

I find the times I do watch are pretty enjoyable because it keeps the experience novelty-esque.

I just bought some chicken wings, will spray them with cayenne pepper and salt, air fry, then brush some BBQ on them.
Easy piecy

Ben never got the coaching Patrick has gotten. Ben won on talent alone

Of course I’ll watch. Rooting for 9ers but don’t really care. It’s the last meaningful football game for 7 months and a national pastime.

exactly
I'm either outdoors doing some exploring on land or water
or I'm home making music (writing songs) in the studio

a bad day doing any of those is just not going to happen
but a day spent in front of the tv-no guarantees of a good day

The last two songs I wrote:
I met a girl in Waxahachie Texas
And
Candy, Candy, candy all over.
