Rams Are Homophobic

Maybe so, but if Landry is gay, then we already have our gay man.

not saying Landry is gay

but as far as I can tell

he doesn't run away from a sack

What is sad is the fact we drafted sams twin last year in the first round

He got cut for a reason . Special teams play probably was a direct result of his overall slow speed. That is something that you can't hide on special teams. Gay / media / can be dealt with, its the slowness thats got butts hurting.

Subtle but effective. Well done. Karma

WE have Gay we don't need Sams. the two of yhem on the same team on the field on defense would just be too much for the media to leave alone. Defensive back William Gay (he's not) Michael Sams (he is). The introductions the constant pan from one to the other, the real mess if they were both in on a tackle.

Apparently, it is ESPN's fault.

News reporting today that the Rams didn't even sign him to the practice squad.

Anything Jerry can do to keep the Cowgirls in the news and to keep them relevant. Since he can't do it by playing winning football he's now gone to publicity at all costs. That's why he talked about drafting Manziel and now picking up Sam. Just more publicity for a failing org.

Isn't that the truth. Why the heck talk about Johnny, way after the fact? PUBLICITY one word answer

I was searching YouTube (I'm good at that) for a scene in the 70's sitcom "Soap" where a lady in Texas says to Billy Crystal's gay character "Yew must be the HO-MO. We don't have homos in Texas. Not live ones anyway", but it's not there.
Thought I'd share anyway.

Realistically the Cowboys suck enough that Sam could be a starter.

"Oh yeah, like I'm outta line!" -- Jay Leno

All the talk about the Cowboys defense sucking lured him to Dallas. They'll find out that he gets good penetration, but typically plugs the wrong hole. He won't be that good against the run, because he is always gunning for the sack.

I'm just confused why the Rams drafted him

I mean, he showed the ability to get to the QB in preseason. He outplayed the expectations of a 7th round pick. And I understand making the 53 was an uphill climb already because they have so much talent on the DL already. But if he can't even make your PRACTICE SQUAD after performing very well in camp, preseason, etc. then why bother drafting him at all? Just take a flyer on a WR or some ****..

As much as we place importance at getting to the QB, there are some guys who vacate other responsibilities to do so. its not just a one dimentional position, and a few sacks vs non starters in the preseason doesnt really mean as much as one thinks. The rams are laoded on the Dline. They went light in other areas and thus kept extra linebackers and wrs on the PS. they kept no DE, and one could see SAm didnt outplay any lineman who made the team. The Rams had better options and they are not keeping a story over a talent just to appease PC persons. This is really a non story. 7th rounders frequently are cut and not signed to the PS by the team that drafted them. Sam remains a guy caught in a year when too many really good young Dlinemen were drafted. Teams arent going to play guys with that much development still needed unless they must, and there are too many young guys with better ability floating about for him to be a Priority. It would not surprise me to see him cut several more times before his career is done. You really have to be patient with developmental guys and frankly most NFL teams dont do that, particularly with guys they sign off the street.

Because it was the last round, no one had taken The First Openly Gay Player yet, and teams' phones were ringing from the Rogmeister begging them to draft him.
