Ratbirds vs Steelers POSTPONED Until Wednesday.....WTF

Yeah so the league moved the game for competition reasons like they said they would not... in favor of one of his friends among the owners... on the back of them publicly assfucking denver

Again the ravens get players back from stalling
They get a better chance at the playoffs if they 8th spot
They get a chance to hold the door open for the division if thet stall till the league adds week 18
Even if they are out of division contention by then, its likely ( especially with no bye week) that we rest starters week 18, making it easier for them to win
They would have a large chance to play us week 1 of the playoffs if they were the mythical 8 seed, and we would have no bye to help us

If roger wasn’t a worthless biased assmonkey he would say right now any team at fault for causing week 18 is ineligible for the 8 eighth seed.

Then fine these fuckclown purple ********* multiple high round picks for costing the league a primetime marquee game...

Literally Denver should be demanding he recuse himself and let the ownership set the punishment for covid fuckups... the owners are vicious ******* when it comes to ******* each other over

Where is Art the Deuce while all this fuckery is ongoing?

Not just Art, several owners could be speaking up. Steelers kind of got a Mini bye, but no have a cramped schedule. I think next game should be moved to Tuesday then following game to Monday to somewhat get back on track. I know one thing the Steelers better be super motivated and properly take out their frustrations on the Ravens. I expect to see a demolition and having Balt wishing they did forfeit. I hope the starters get some rest because WAS is no joke. Smith has been playing well, Gibson has been playing well, and I think I saw they have the 4th best defense. Not to mention the fact they have a legit shot at winning their division and have confidence and motivation.

Uh, what do you think the Ravens did wrong? You’re on record as declaring Covid protocols and mask wearing as bullshit.

Their physical strength coach had actual symptoms and didn’t bother to tell anyone and apparently came to work and worked closely with people... he didn’t wear a mask either but even if he had it’s fairly likely that his close contact would have spread it indoors with prolonged contact while showing symptoms

Afterwards the ratbirds either All forgot who was actually exposed or more likely they outright lied about it to keep all those guys from going on the close contact list and missing Thursday’s game
This led to them participating in early week activities that ultimately led to the week of positives outside of the initial event....

Again the coach has actual symptoms...Wasn’t following any protocols, but only one player was contact traced to him... guys with actual video of having maskless close contact well inside of six feet with one of the initial Monday positive players didn’t make any isolation lists...

Undisputed facts
1. The ravens claim this outbreak is the fault of their staffer
2. The Ravens initial investigation failed to even remotely accurately project tge scope of the outbreak.
3. The Ravens were the reason the thanksgiving game was moved

After some time to think about this situational mess, I'm attempting to look at this with optimism and the glass being half full... here's why:

The Steelers are coming off 10 days rest (all be it a bit of a psychological roller coaster), representing the sort of mini-bye the Thanksgiving day game was supposed to provide, just not in the order expected, which also follows somewhat of a cakewalk in Jacksonville. Not the ideal scenario, but 10 needed rest days none the less.

The last time they played the Rats, Baltimore had been gifted a bye week to prepare for their biggest division rival, orchestrated by the Titans COVID indiscretions. At just about full strength and on their home turf, they came up short against our Steelers.

They now have significant numbers of starters unable to play, even as late as Wednesday, of course with the exception of Ingram/Dobbins, while the Steelers are mostly at full strength, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

After an earlier than anticipate 10 day break, the Steelers should be more or less well rested and the short turn around for week 13, as well as 14 now, should force them to quickly refocus, get back to work and attempt to find their stride to make a playoff push, hopefully into February.

Championship teams find a way to motivate and galvanize themselves down the stretch, which ultimately defines them as such, champions... I think this could turn out to be a positive in that sense for the 2020 version of our favorite team???!!!

The entire idea of adding the eighth seed is stupid. Just keep the play-offs the same minus it being pushed back a week(or even 2 to 3 if needed). Did the NFL happen to explain their thoughts behind the adding of the eighth seed if a week 18 is added?

The way this is going, old ROG will stall it long enough for Lamar Jackson to be able to play. After what he did to the Broncos and what he is doing to the Steelers I find it hard to believe that other team owners aren't outraged.

I can see it now. The Steelers fight their way to the SuperBowl despite RG's obstacles and then he calls the season off due to Covid problems before the game is played.

It certainly looks that way. As it is, Rog and the other politically-correct dimwits at the league and media are probably pissed that Jackson and Mahomes are in the same conference and can't play each other in the SB.

That's just it, where is he. My guess is he is out collecting billions,.... With his eyes closed

Salute the nation

So essentially, the Steelers play until just after Christmas in either primetime Buffalo and Bungholes or weird time, Ravens and Washington football team formerly the Redskins. OK my Sundays are now pretty free.

The NFL absolutely moved the game again to allow the Ratbirds, who caused this. to get 5 or 6 players back. Complete bullshit. I did see they moved our game against the Skins to Monday. Not sure the time but my guess is it will be the 2nd game, which will suck.

Besides the fact that we know Rog doesn't like the Steelers, I think the goal is to have at least one black QB in the SB and two would be better.
There, I said it.
Looking at the NFC leaders, a Big Ben vs. Brees or Rodgers Super Bowl would not be acceptable. Wilson vs. Mahomes would be effing awesome.
Look for Rog and the league to try to make that happen. If that doesn't work, then as mentioned if it looks like the Steelers will be in the SB and especially if it looks like the Steelers will be undefeated, well we just have to cancel the Super Bowl because of that gosh darn Covid dontcha know.

Rush Limbaugh approves.

I think this is stretching it a bit. The Steelers are a huge draw for the NFL and both Rodgers and Brees are popular. I think Ben vs Rodgers would draw more than Ben vs Wilson. Plus IF the Steelers are going for a perfect season that would be an insane draw / storyline

Only half serious, but it's 2020, social justice trumps huge draw and that would be the storyline. But I'd love to see Ben remove that smug look off of Rodgers face.

I hear you. I also think that Rog, the league, and the media don't care. Political correctness is more important than lots of attention to a team with a white QB who has multiple sexual assault allegations.

The NFL will probably take away a late round pick from the ravens then add that loss into their compensatory pick calculation and Balt ends up with a 3rd round pick.

I cannot imagine there any real lingering bias toward Ben re Tahoe/Georgia. The reality is Biscotti and Goodell are tight, and Hairball has manipulated this to a degree.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any tweets/posts from Broncos/49ers/Raiders about this accommodation for Balt?

This is something I'd hoped would have happened. Last night during MNF, Booger McFarland mentions the players had a chance to opt out at the beginning of the season, they knew what they were getting into. Basically he's saying shut up and play. This is followe up by Steve Levy during the games broadcast commenting on what a great job the NFL is doing getting these games in. Not a peep about forcing the 49ers and Broncos to play without any of the considerations the Ravens just received yesterday by pushing the game back another day even though tests were negative. Just plain old kissing Goodell's ***.

If there's no mention in the national media of bias, owner friendship, or Harbaugh twitter manipulation threatening player revolt even though there's nothing to back it up, nothing will change. Matter of fact, I'm sure everyone was patting old Roger on the back this morning yelling job well done boss.

No one that wants to continue to be paid by the NFL will say anything negative on their handling of this situation. Comply or find other work.
