How the NFL is allowing players to play who were not eligible is complete bullshit..

Why is there so much bitching on this thread? ****, we knew this year would be ****** up...At least we got a damn game

Are they any good?

All Clear! Ravens no new positives and on their way to the airport. Now the PAIN begins!!!!!

Besides the fact that we know Rog doesn't like the Steelers, I think the goal is to have at least one black QB in the SB and two would be better.
There, I said it.
Looking at the NFC leaders, a Big Ben vs. Brees or Rodgers Super Bowl would not be acceptable. Wilson vs. Mahomes would be effing awesome.
Look for Rog and the league to try to make that happen. If that doesn't work, then as mentioned if it looks like the Steelers will be in the SB and especially if it looks like the Steelers will be undefeated, well we just have to cancel the Super Bowl because of that gosh darn Covid dontcha know.
Surely you jest...SMH...

I saw somewhere they wanted a practice cuz they were worried about soft tissue injuries and what not. I don't know if that was a true statement, but it so, I would ask WTF were you doing with your time off? Did they not stretch or take easy jogs to keep the muscles supple?

Sask is absolutely right. They should have been told if they don't play they don't get paid. If they cant field a team, too bad. Further punishments coming due to failure to report to work. Alas, what really happens is Rog flops over on the issue and will not deal any punishment later. Dayum, the NFLPA must absolutely giddy about the next labor agreement if Rog keeps this **** up.
Soft tissue = vagina

LOL. I menat the Ravens. I have no sympathy if they didn't stretch their hoo-hoo or anything else during their down days. They are professional athletes and I am pretty sure they know how to tie a pair of running shoes and go for a jog around the block.

I have a serious question on this returning player business, especially for those who have tested positive. There are people who have had this disease for months. There are cases of people having it for two weeks, testing negative one day, then coming back a few days later with symptoms and re-testing positive. How on earth can the NFL deem these players safe to play after only a nominal 10 day window? What I’m worried about is if one of these knuckleheads shows up on the field tomorrow, they could start an outbreak on our side that could end up sinking our season. Where are the NFL protections against that scenario?

NFL is in the money making business, everything else they throw out is just to calm the waters.

They don't care about safety they will give you the mirage they do, but at the end of the day they are ONLY interested in padding that wallet.

Williams is out with an ankle injury. Fluker is questionable with back spasms.

McSorley has been out for weeks, so he's not a rush back from the Covid List.

Utter BS. This was the NFL’s plan all along. They didn’t want to have a repeat of the Donkey’s fiasco. Otherwise, they would have either made them play, or deemed any players who became eligible after yesterday as ineligible.

I think their real plan is to have it moved to the end of the season.

Oh, but they do. That’s why the game was delayed until Wednesday, so they had TWO DAYS of negative results. That was both the NFL and the Raven’s concern. It was all about player safety, and a medically based decision. [emoji849]

Is the game still on for tomorrow or did a flock of Shitbirds come down with an earache or yeast infection?

The Baltimore Ravens are set to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in less than 24 hours and they learned of one new player and one new staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. In fact, the news is so new that the players were informed of the positive tests while on the airplane to fly to Pittsburgh, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Worst yet, the positive player had practiced with the team over the last two days as they held socially-distant walkthroughs in preparation for Wednesday’s game against Pittsburgh. Baltimore had not practiced since last Monday when they learned of the first two positive cases — running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins. The Ravens haven’t had a single day since that hasn’t seen a player or staff member test positive.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens’ game against the Steelers is still on for Wednesday.

Rats should forfeit or play....period!!

The game was delayed because of two reasons. One the rats HC had a ******* Catalina whine mixer, two rats getting players back create more of a competition which boosts ratings.

Like I said a little bit of smoke screen mixed with a lot of bit green in their bank accounts.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but this is pure and utter bullshit if the game is played. No credibility on the part of the NFL.
