or Hines laying out Reed

I absolutely loved that hit. Reed eventually got up but was "sway-eeee" while walking.

No Steelers - Ravens thread will be complete without mention of this play. Still the loudest roar I have ever heard at Heinz Field.

Read the post(s) below the video.

One poster said hardest hitting game he'd ever been to, that summons up the typical Raven / STEELERS games of the rivalry.

The AFC Championship when Ryan Clark and McGhee collided was one of the most violent hits I think I ever saw. Honestly thought someone would be dead or paralyzed.
I loved it when someone on this board posted under a picture of Ray Lewis kneeling in prayer - "Not Willie, Lord, take me instead"

If only Troy could teach DJ how to do the crab run properly

Ravens defense is much better with Roquan Smith. I think I would rather LJ start. Living near Baltimore, I can say Raven fans are scared about this game. Rhier keft tackle is out and the replacement is worse than our left tackle.

regardless of anything it will be a hard hitting close game. the kind of game that reminds us that it is still football.

That honest mistake by Tomlin.

One of my favorite Ravens/Steelers games was in Ben's rookie year at Heinz. The Steelers got the 2nd half kickoff and drove the ball right down the Raven's throats...all run plays down the field, until a few yards out Ben threw a TD to Jerame Tuman. What a great drive. I would love that kind of football again.

Kordell Strewart brought us back from a big deficit for a win. I can't remember the score but I think is was 21 down, correct me if I'm wrong.

That was a stress out game.
Yep Lunar......as much as I hated the Ravens, their D was great. Ngata was a beast. Horse face put pressure on Ben all game. There were so many unreal plays. Troy jumping over the DLine to stop the 4th down,Santonio’s TD run(watch Heath block on that run). Heath had some clutch catches as usual. Mitch Berger decleated a guy on a return. Lima’s Sweed dropping that sure TD,then faking his injury. Ben a gutsy performance against a frigging tough D. There’s more I just can’t remember all. The tension was Incredible. I’d say the only game for me that was more stressful was the Indy game. When The Bus fumbled I almost stroked out. They could write a book just on those two games.

What say you STEELERNATION.COM, what rivalry plays / incidents / games do you remember ?

The divisional playoff game in January 2011 - Ben's long bomb on 3rd and 19 which Antonio Brown caught for a first down, which if memory serves me correctly was followed by a touchdown to seal the win for the Steelers.

Last season, I'm in the stands on Sunday night with my son, in Baltimore, for Ben's "last game." He kicked Canada to the curb to win, and it wasn't his last game, but he beats the rats one last time.

There could be a bunch of books on this rivalry. Every volume would be amazing.
