I saw a clip on the Giants war room when Dart was still available starting somewhere in the 20s. It seemed they knew the Steelers were not selecting Dart, the team they were concerned about appeared to be the Browns. Every team picking after Pittsburgh in round one already has their QB. The GM said something to the effect, I’m not worried, Pittsburgh won’t trade with Cleveland. They nabbed Dart 4 picks later with Houston’s pick. Just conjecture but my impression.

I think many Steelers fans and maybe the Steelers FO were affected by the Kenny Pickett hangover. But they're not even remotely the same QB. To start with, Dart's hands are bigger than 7".

He still hasn’t proven anything as preseason is 90-95% meaningless, but he has looked pretty good in those meaningless games.

But look at DeVito, even the NYG 4th string QB looked better than Mason or Skylar…maybe the system factors in.
