I'm torn on this issue as no sales tax on things bought online gives online retailers a significant advantage over local retailers and the playing field should be level.

On most things that is offset by shipping charges.

Not if you have Amazon Prime. L.L. Bean has free shipping too. OTOH, with Tire Rack you have to check the shipping and installation charges to see if you save money.

I didn't say it was free but I save more than that in shipping charges plus I get Amazon Prime TV.

Sales fax is about the fairest tax there is.

Every person pays the same %.

I agree, but in this case no one really thinks the government will lower other taxes if this passes.

That's why going to the Fair Tax MUST include a repeal of the Federal income and Social Security taxes.
