RIP Dale Lolley

Younger than me😳 eshhh.

"It's been a great run here, one I'll always recall fondly. All apologies to George Harrison: 'All things must pass. None of life's strings can last. So, I must be on my way. And face another day.'"

I knew something was wrong during camp. His voice was gone...he insisted it was only pneumonia...but heard something there that wasn't right. I lost a dear freiend that had the same voice thing going on. He thought it was a cold...it was throat cancer (never smoked a day in his life).

I actually saved another friend's life a couple years ago....same thing...weird voice thing going on. I urged him to get it checked. It was cancer but they caught it in time.

May God rest his Soul and bestow Peace and Protection on his Family.

RIP Dale.

Wow. Nowadays I read and hear about quite a few who pass away at an age younger than my current age.

Wow. So young. RIP

I wonder why they are dying so young now.............

That's a good question (might know the answer but wrong forum), but keep in mind it could be that way just because I am 97 years old.

RIP. So many Steeler reporters passing away lately it seems. Tunch, Wolf, Stan, John Clayton, and now Dale. Seems like I might be missing someone else.

Condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed as a father / husband / and many other roles as well.

He had it right, and will be missed in the voice of football world.

Salute the nation

Sorry to hear that.
