Derrick Harmon's Mom was on life support as he told her he had been drafted. She passed away today. So sad! Life can really suck sometimes.

I am rooting for him even more now.

I'm sure she heard him. I know deep in my heart my Dad heard me when he was on life support. Taking him off life support was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I'm praying for Derrick and his family.

Well if they are suffering the silver lining can be they are suffering no longer. 😉
 
Wow she waited for him to tell her the news....then she passed away! Unbelievable.....May she Rest In Peace.......my heart hurts for him and I don't even know the kid! He's got support from the entire Steeler Nation!

That sucks for him, but at least she held on to get the news.
 
That's terrible, goes from a great high to really low in a matter of hours. RIP Tiffany.
 
Don't worry Mrs. Harmon, Steeler Nation will take care of him now! This reminds me of my Aunt who held on to life for nearly a year until she saw her youngest graduate from HS. She passed the next day. The mind is a very powerful force in this world. No doubt she willed herself to live to share that last moment with him! RIP, Mrs. Harmon - we got him!!
