Saturday Games - Vikings vs. Bengals

I can't believe I am saying this but does anyone else wish we were playing as good as the Bengals right now or with as much heart. Damn

Good call by the ref...

Good friend (Norwegian and Mexican) and his wife (grand parents from Mexico) hosted another close friend (African American/Irish), his wife and sister (San Salvador/Irish) and me (Irish/German). The only reason I mention ethnicity is everyone except me and my other friend had mexican and central american blood and were all raised on food from the homeland.

It was new years day, our host made a chilli amongst other things. Habaneros, jalapeños and "special" seasoning etc. were in the mix. I started eating and JHC, thought I was gonna die. I figured I better toughen up or everyone would start making fun of me who bragged about loving spicy food. Kept my head down to hide the tears falling into my bowl of hell.

Finally the host's wife started mfing her husband about how hot the chillie was. I looked up and everyone's eyes were watering and had napkins at their nose trying to stop the flood. We all broke out laughing hysterically. The thing is he's a fantastic cook but he truly f####d that up.

A bowl of hell. I like that. Reminds me of a batch of chili I tried at a chili contest. The name was: Hell in a Bucket.... Great take off an old Dead tune.

That’s neat. I’m Japanese/Hispanic on my dad’s side. My grandpa grew up learning how to cook both cuisines(Japanese/New Mexican - does differ than mexican)

My stomach can handle a lot lol. Taste buds too.
I remember going to Vegas one year and ordered a chili dog. The waitress says the chili was really hot. The damn **** was just hormel or stag chili. I’m eating that like “hot? Wtf?”

My aunt was making hot pickles the one year and put tablespoons instead of teaspoons in. They were pretty brutal

It's hard to take the NFL serious anymore. They half *** call penalties, even when clear and in the open.
