Trying to wrap my head around whether this bill is struggling because there actually are legitimate concerns with it or just more partisan politics.
I just read it, it not a long piece of legislation, and honestly can't see what the fuss is.
Admittedly I'm not a lawyer, but did have to know various laws and statues throughout my working career so I'm curious what the holdup is?

To those against this, why specifically? Not looking for "it suppresses voting" or other emotional takes, but specific parts of the bills wording that are an issue for you.

Why are Democrats, and Rino's, who say that they are of course in favor of only actual citizens voting in Federal elections not make suggestions to the bill pointing out language that they feel needs amended?

I'm going to send an email off to my 2 Democrat Senators asking them to list the line in the bill that they have issue with. Doubt I'll get a response.
 
Democrats have to cheat and use fake votes to steal elections. This bill would force them to win honestly, which they can't do because their policies are insane, and that's why they're going apeshiit. Rinos are democrats who lied when they ran as republicans.

Democrats will lose their illegal immigrant and illegal mail-in votes. Half the Pubbies are askeered that the media will be mad at them.
The Pubbie conumdrum:
1. They will surely lose control of the House and Senate if they don't pass the SAVE Act.
2. If they do pass the SAVE Act, the Dims will double down and they will likely lose control of the House and Senate.
3. Most of the Pubbies don't really like being in control of the House and Senate anyway because the base (like me) expects them to get **** done, and they don't really like President Trump.

the fact is that most GOP "leaders" are closet libs. Or, too many GOP "leaders" are really libs who infiltrated the GOP to screw it up.

IMO, the fact that all the politicians have overlapping pet projects that they've gotten kickbacks from keeps them from working together... even though its most likely they all get kickbacks from the same companies/corporations.

these mfs are not the most moral and ethical we have.

We no longer have a true representative government. Not with over 3/4 of the population wanting this. If they passed one single thing in their entire tenure in office,this should be it.

I'm done with the lot of them. I'm beyond disgusted this isn't a 100% onboard by everyone. As I've said prior,I don’t ever want to hear any of them spew off about democracy ever again.

Same. I'm not flying again until May. Should be fixed by then. If not then we'll take Amtrak to Miami for the cruise.
