Bad series. Got away from the run
Pretty sure that's the game.
I'm sorry I just don't think Seattle is that good of a football team. They will get destroyed by Dallas if they have to play them. Dallas's O-line is just too damn physical for that small Front 7 of Seattle. The key to beating the Seahags is running between the tackles vs their Front 7 and sprinkle in the passing game here and there. Carolina had the right game plan in the first half but they completely abandoned it in the 2nd half and I don't understand why.
Seattle has an great secondary but they are small up front on Defense and a good O-line with a dominated running game can really wear them down. When you have a RB who can carry it inside like DeMarco Murray or Eddie Lacy I think it spells trouble for Seattle.
I still don't see a team beating Seattle. AFC or NFC. They spell: C.O.M.P.L.E.T.E.
It's funny how when I was watching us play the last few weeks of the season, I thought we looked like a pretty good football team. Then I watched the games today and it became painfully obvious how far away the Steelers are from teams like NE and Seattle. And I don't mean just from a talent perspective. Actually, I think the Steelers are much better offensively than the Seahawks. It's how they play. The Pats and Seahawks play with a competitive fire and confidence that we flat out do not have. Even when those teams make a mistake or give up a touchdown, they stay focused... They keep their composure... We implode.
What amazes me is that NFL franchises keep wasting high draft picks on QB's with Newton's skill set coming out of college, and almost always they end up falling short of expectations.... usually waaaaaay short. I hate to say it, but I think the end is near for Kapernick and RGIII as well. They were effective running that pistol/ read option, but now that defenses have caught up with it, they aren't near as productive as they were before.Cam Newton is a dumb QB that can't read a defense. On the last few drives the Seahawks were bumping each other off trying to pick off his telegraphed passes. He breaks the huddle knowing where he is going to throw the ball.
