Semi Finals - Ole Miss vs. Miami

He had that TD in his hands.

Great finish. Congrats Miami!

Ohio State slow played all game. Let the Miami DL catch it's breathe after every play. They should have been able to run more up tempo and tire out that pass rush like Miss did.

If that was a pro game all we would hear for the next week is how that was DPI on the last play.

It was, but they both were going after each other. Had they called DPI no one could have complained.

Refs almost never call PI on a Hail Mary. I can count on 1 hand how often I've seen it called in my life. You have to pretty much tackle a guy to get a call.

Besides, it only would have been 15 yards and another Hail Mary attempt.

I appreciate the balls it takes for that lady to put on those leather pants.

That’s why I thought nothing of it. Receivers routinely get mugged in the final play of games and nothing is ever called.

I thought the Ole Miss QB Chambliss looked good. Apparently he is trying to go back for another year. If he can't he is likely undrafted FA.

They were on the 35. That's not exactly a Hail Mary.
Lol yes, it is. Its far enough out, and its the last play of the game where the qb is tossing up a desperation moonball, hoping for a miraculous catch. It doesnt need to be a 60-yard bomb to qualify for "hail mary" status

Is PI in the end zone different in College Football? As in the NFL it would be placed on the one yard line.

Watching replay of that last Ole Miss pass to the end zone ... their receiver was definitely interfered with. No call.
plenty of calls went Ole Miss' way all night....

was shocked the last play wasn't called PI...but it was not a terrible no call.

There is definitely leeway on a jump ball both ways for PI. That was not a jump ball. That said Ole Miss shouldn't have played Tomlin ball, pinned their ears back and gone for the jugular. Coaches don't seem to get the fact that if I play safe......there is no time left when I get the ball back.
