I really wonder if Mitchell's poor play wasn't part of the reason Thomas couldn't get on the field. Couldn't put an inexperienced guy out there with a FS that is lost too?

GMC... I think you may be onto something there.

I agree that we will probably draft a Safety... although hopefully not in the first three rounds. (OLB, OLB and TE or OLB... LOL)

I still believe that Mitchell may turn it around. He will be here in 2015. Also, it is possible that we may sign another FA Safety... it is still one of the most bang-for-the-buck positions to sign FA's on the defensive side of the ball.

Shamarko is such an agile, explosive athlete, with such impressive college ball video, that I'm willing to give him another season to make the transition.

How many teams said the same thing about Tebow and what's he doing now?

The list of draft busts with this current regime is long.

I may catch **** for this but here goes... Troy makes it very difficult for the other guys in the field. No one knows where the hell he's gonna be or what he will do. He's a hybrid and LeBeau lets him do whatever he wants. This worked for years when Troy was in the heads of the other teams QBs and was making plays. I love Troy, but he hasn't made any big plays in 2 seasons... It's time to get these younger guys into a structured system and let them feed!
