Shazier!

Worilds played quite well. Yes, Jarvis did not suit up. Carter played ROLB for a series and then was yanked in favor of Arthur Moats.

Aren't we all over-reacting a tad bit to the fact that the Bills kicked a couple field goals in a PRESEASON game, thanks to penalties on the defense that were ticky-tack at best and probably would not be called in the real game?

I just see troubling trends...Also the bills offense has been horrid...im not in full panic but i think there is cause for concern on D.

The Eagles will give us a good barometer of where we are as a defense.

Maybe if their receivers are playing. They have a good TE tandem with Ertz and Celek, that will be a challenge for our ILBs. Maklin and Cooper have been injured, and their best receiver they gave to the Washington Racists...

Enjoyed the highlights. To all those folks going over the top or blasting Shazier, yes it was a preseason game and he is a rookie. The kid is playing well. Our last first round pick at linebacker likely did not amass similar numbers in the totals of multiple games.Shazier looked good and looked like a guy that will become a good player. Archer caught the ball and ran and survived a tackle and produced a big gain. AB is the real deal. Wheaton may be better than folks think, looked good on his touch down. There are two guys playing outside linebacker that are late rounders or undrafted that look better than uncle Jarvis. Now I know what I saw was only a high light clip, but I have only seen one about uncle Jarvis. The two rookies look lots better than our other back ups have so far. Again I know these are only highlights and should be taken with a grain of salt.

This looks like one of the better early season / preseason showings from Tomlin keeping in mind they are trying to evaluate talent and not win a game. It is actually beginning to look like there will be guys that could unseat some other players that have more experience.

Watched a lot of steeler football going back a long time... Both jacks and all the great ones after... Never seen one start the season like sha... He looked like he was on fire. I think we have a special guy here we'll see... Finally... Imagine if j jones started the season like that

Wow, just wow. I know it's only one game..... In preseason nonetheless, but WOW. I remember how excited we all were at Joey Porter's rookie preseason showing. We all ( at least us older board members ) felt Joey was going to be special, and when the season started, really wanted to see him get more playing time that rookie year. This kid looks like the real deal. Glad the current staff isn't going to redshirt him so to speak. Staying tuned.
