I like both your mocks, but damn I’m laughing at the hostility! Coolie, it was just this morning you told me this was a kindler/gentler Steeler Nation 😆
it is. the responses would have been way more graphic back in the day

You should check with So0pid and see if he has five minutes to spare from his serial porn-watching to enter this discussion.

THAT guy would throw this **** off the rails in twenty words are less, since that constitutes So0pid's entire vocabulary.

Not a big fan of the selections, Berm, but very much like staying put and drafting in the positions the Steelers currently have. I think the mock simulators give us unrealistic expectations, since the purported trade offers give up so much draft capital to the Steelers to have them move down 3-7 spots.

My turn:

  • PIT

    20.
    Kaiir Elam
    CB Florida

  • PIT

    52.
    Desmond Ridder
    QB Cincinnati

  • PIT

    84.
    Devonte Wyatt
    DT Georgia

  • PIT

    138.
    Troy Andersen
    LB Montana State

  • PIT

    Jaivon Heiligh
    WR Coastal Carolina

  • PIT

    239.
    Zach VanValkenburg
    EDGE Iowa

Big upgrade on defense, but taking Ridder at 52 really messes up things for me. Should have taken Faalele but Ridder the QB I like best in this class and 52 is reasonable. Wyatt too damn good to pass up, Anderson an incredible athlete who is still learning the LBer position but is 6'3", 244 lbs., incredibly fast, very productive in his two years at LB for Montana State. You know by now that I have Elam as an elite CB. I think Elam, Wyatt and Anderson play beginning week 1, and by week 5 or 6, all three are on the field 75% of the time or more.

Heighligh is a very good route runner, can contribute as slot receiver right away. That means Johnson and Claypool better produce as X and Y. VanValkenburg a pass rushing specialist, not elite but high motor, plays special teams.

So I really want one of the olinemen in the first… id be thrilled with linderbaum or Green… id be hellastoked for Ridder in the second, that would probably be the qb scenario that makes me the most happy, but if not id endorse the Georgia DT that isn’t getting overdrafted, or any of the speedy wrs in the 2nd or 3rd

Im sold on taking a later flyer on cams brother for the backup RB/fb/te/Hback depth guy

I think id rather them avoid CB altogether… and id rather a S drafted than an ilb right now since bush is still going to get a spot no matter what

Yes I draft Marcus Jones in the third if he is there. He will fit the slot corner and take over the return game

If Damarion Williams is there in the 6th (if they can pick up a 6th) or 7th I take him also but would plan on him working as a safety. He was mostly a CB at UH but put in a good amount of time at safety also
