So what are your thoughts on Olave

He was good in his first 2 seasons but missed half the season in his 3rd due to concussions. That's not a good thing.

He probably still has a year left on his rookie contract. If they could get him for a 5th, at most, he would be worth taking a shot on. He would easily be our WR2, if healthy. Get him one of those darn new helmets.
 
i saw that the Aints are asking a 2nd and 4th
much too rich for a guy who missed so much time last year and has 5 concussions
 
Solid X Receiver. Exactly what this football team needs to complement DK Metcalf.
Concussion issues in 2024 but very solid numbers in 2023 with over 1000 receiving yards.
Now the question, what will it cost to make that trade?

Isn't 1000 yards nothing in todays NFL.....especially with the 17th game added....in a pass 1st league?

Shouldn't a good WR be getting 1500 yards plus?

Steelers could give a 5th and a 6 or 7th and still be ok.

Put a moratorium on that **** until we pull ahead or at least tie. That’s when it becomes fun!
 
When you think about it….. this is perfect trade for our luck lately. Trade pick needed to move for a qb in 26 draft, get concussion prone player, he retires early/possibly training camp, Steelers left holding the bag. I hate to be a Debbie downer. But this organization gives me no optimism lately. I want them to prove me wrong badly.
 
They want to much for him. A 5th or a 6th would be worth it

Olave was an unknown in high school and was discovered by OSU when they were scouting a quarterback. Stroud maybe? Anyways, he worked his *** off to get where he is. Great hands and great person. Absolute shame about the concussions. I love his game though and would gladly give up a pick for him. He would be the perfect compliment to Metcalf.
