Something has got to give

That's why I said the other day the Eagles game I didn't see us winning. I remember one season with Big Ben,we played them in Philly, and they sacked him like 10 times. It was awful.

If they do two things really well the chances of breaking that long streak are very high.

Pass protection is No.1 and stopping the run, which is Barkley.

2008 game. It was horrific, probably the worst performance I've ever seen from a Steeler offensive line, before or since.

HEY WUSSSIES…who don’t feel good about our chance of winning…MAN THE **** UP

Eagle fans are not feeling so good about their chances against our Steelers either…
Oct 24,1965 or 59 years.
Live in the past a little ayyyy…

That has nothing to do with this team…God I wish TJ was here to hear you

What would TJ say?

I’m kind of thinking he’d deliver you a forearm shiver

Not even the 70's dynasty won in Philly and Pickens won't even be playing. This team isn't a pimple on the *** of that team.

Lay off the peyote.

Yes,they could win,but the probability is extremely low.

It’s going to be a tough task to beat this Eagles team in their stadium. Possible, of course but probable I would be very surprised.
If Tomlin can pull out a win there it would go a long way in quieting his doubters that’s for damn sure.
Chuck couldn’t win there, Bill couldn’t win there and so far Mike hasn’t won there.
I think that distinction goes to the late great Buddy Parker and QB Bobby Lane. That’s almost sixty years so I’d say Newton’s law of averages is long overdo here.
True. But beating the Ravens in the next game will weigh more...

I had us pegged for 4 losses for this season - hopefully my projection is correct.

Next week the Steelers play in Philadelphia, where they havent won since 1965

They will start Russell Wilson... who has never lost to either Pennsylvanian team... home or away...

What streak bites it on Sunday?
I was gonna say, our losing streak in Philly is on par with Cleveland's losing streak here.
I don't see that changing.

The worst was when they lost to Bobby Hoying in '97. Bobby Hoying. I was at that game. The prior home game for the Eagles was a Monday nighter against San Fran, the Eagles stunk, and someone shot a flare across the stadium. For the next home game they put the court room in the stadium. if you acted like an idiot, they'd take you right down to court. All week on WIP they were saying cops will be undercover in Steelers gear. So my brother and I geared up. Nobody said a word to us.

And the Steelers lost. Cowher would lose to shiity teams on occasion, too.
What? Never I say!!!!

I remember Cowher losing muliple afc championship games and we were all calling for his head......now we beg just for a competitive playoff game. How the times have changed.

Meh
TJ would get chipped by a TE
Held by an OL-no flag
Then chipped by a RB

Wouldn’t get close enough to spit much less forearm shiver

Haven’t heard 1 Eagle fan I know the least concerned about the Steelers, they’ve never seen us win there so why would they be?

Every coach does

You guys blow me away if you don’t think we can’t take Phiily & the Title…

Do you guys even watch the other games? We can beat all these teams…

Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right…

It was either after that game or the giants game that year, where we also gave up an idiotic number of sacks and hits, that Arians made those press statements that pissed me off so much... about how the deep stuff was open and slants dont work in the NFL..
Either he or Tomlin refused to use quick slants to counter that pressure... the plan was to hope Ben could beat the pressure and hit deep passes...

Arians got Ben beat to shitt more times than cake mix’s on birthdays.

That’s part of why Todd “hot-wife” was brought in. Figured Tod could save Ben by different play calling and keep Ben’s roaming eye in house……………..

Salute the nation

I think Steelers will sneak in a win in Philly.

If not, Kentuckysteeler will eat a donated booger.
from his neighborhood collection.?

The 70s team only played in Philadelphia once (in 1979), and Philadelphia was also a pretty good side that year. Reality is what the 70s team did in Philadelphia has no bearing on the upcoming game. Philadelphia are definitely favourites (more so if Pickens is out) but I think its closer than you seem to think. This game (and the two after) will provide a good indicator of just how close the Steelers are to being a serious threat in the playoffs.

My point was as I first said, they haven't had a victory in Philly in 59 years and Pickens has a flat tire. I have them losing here.

I certainly want them to win. I hate that town and it's fans. I absolutely loathe the flyers.

The bigger picture is wins against Baltimore&Cincinnati.

..edit and KC, because **** them and Talor Swift..plus it's Christmas at home, the gift that keeps on giving.

The correct strategy is selling out to stop Barkley, both run and pass. Spy him.
Hurts doesn't scare me.
JPJs continual handsiness and PI calls scare the sin out of me, but not Hurts.
Force Hurts to beat us and don't let Barkley do it.
Now, our O against the Eagles D.........that's gonna be tough any way you slice it.

Brown has carved the Steelers up before he is a top tier WR. You want to minimize his impact as well.

The Eagles are having style team chemistry problems which might help us. Barkley is pretty scary and we had trouble with Johnathan Taylor. I think we need to play aggressive and worry about the run first. Hurts is very streaky if we can stop them early we will have a shot. I think it's all going to come down to our oline.

Yes, Brown was bitching about the passing game after the last win... hopefully they deemphasize the Run and try to pass vs us... thenumbers say we are a much better run D than pass D... so they may...
