Sooo anyone ready to talk about the punter situation yet?

Percey Harvin will do what we drafted hi to do. If memory serves right, he had a great gameearly in the season before everything became way more frazzled in his personal life. he will be healed and more stabil mentally.

I do want stiff competition but like Berry for several years, I doubt Percey's job is in jeopardy .

Salute the nation

The Steelers waived Waitman in January (after he averaged 52.1 yards per punt), and he was claimed by the Broncos. Obviously there was no open competition last year, and I wouldn't expect to see anyone else but Harvin punting for the Steelers in 2022, no matter how poorly he performs.
You're right, it's especially disgusting that Harvin was a either a 6th or 7th round draft pick (can't remember) and the organization still refuses to cut its losses and swallow its pride over that small of an investment

I mean, I'm not opposed to them giving Harvin another chance (given his personal issues last season), but I would have just allowed him to take the rest of the season off, let a deserving Waitman finish it out, and then opened the competition between the two for the 2022 job. But I'm not Mike Tomlin.
