Well, I did not watch every game but I did watch the Texas Tech game. It wasn't Romello it was Anthony Holmes Jr. #33. Looks to be a whole sack not a half.
It does seem that at least a half sack should have been credited there. But as @Litos mentioned, in watching that game, I didn't come away with the impression that Max was abused. Looked to me like he held his own against a couple of NFL-caliber pass rushers, one of whom became the #2 overall pick in the draft.
