Anyone want to defend this "conservative" play calling to protect Rudolph?

My counter - It's not conservative, it's just ******.

Why not call a TO and try to get the ball back?
 
I would like to see a pump and go or something. They know we are throwing short if he fakes a short route and the WR takes off I bet it would be open.

If Ben were in he would... he coaches in his fears in games like this... i wish our balless media would ask him why he goes ultra conservative in games but busts out that sill” we don’t live in our fears “ quote when he does take a chance in a game... they absolutely live in their fears like 85% of the time...
